President | Ahmed Ismail
Ahmed Ismail is in his third year, pursuing his Bachelor of Finance (Honours) degree at York University. As president of the NFSA, he is eager to take this organization to new heights. With the help of a talented pool of executives, project managers, directors and associates by his side, Ahmed is confident in the direction the NFSA is heading and looks forward to the many memorable experiences with members, speakers and corporate partners.
Co-VP Marketing | Mohammad Zulfiqar
Mohammad is in his third year, pursuing a Bachelor of Administrative Studies degree at York University. His positive attitude and love of equity markets makes him the perfect person to promote the field of finance. He is proficient at using social media and the internet to discuss ideas, and the best person on the team to have a conversation with about economics and trading stocks.
Co-VP Marketing | Andres Pozo
Andres Pozo is a fourth year Psychology major at York. Andres has a curious and explorative nature which has led him to pursue a professional certificate in marketing as well as a minor in Environmental Studies. He is an enthusiastic and dynamic team player and along with his colleagues, shares the vision of bridging the gap between the classroom and the boardroom. With the use of innovative strategies and creative ideas, Andres is confident that the NFSA will continue to grow and enrich the lives of students.
VP Human Resources | Rabeea Wajeeha
Rabeea Wajeeha is in her fourth year, pursuing her Bachelor of Human Resources Management degree at York University. After a rewarding experience being part of the NFSA team as the staffing coordinator last year, she is ecstatic to be part of the executive team as Vice President of Human Resources for 2010-2011. She will play a key role in furthering the goals of the NFSA by ensuring that all undertakings have the right people to do it.
VP Operations | Ahad Arain
Ahad Arain is a Management major in his fourth and final year of studies. He has management experience behind him and likes to understand every aspect of business rather than focusing in one area. He has also worked as a marketing coordinator for over three years & loves to interact with people. His interests include playing sports and riding his motorcycle in the summertime.
VP External Relations | David Fung
David Fung is a Finance student at York University in his fourth year, and intends to pursue the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. As Vice President of External, he is responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with NFSA’s affiliated student organizations, corporate partners, and sponsors. David has gained banking experience as a customer service representative and a corporate payment validation officer with CIBC. His internship experiences included working as an investment advisor assistant at RBC Dominion Securities and a database administrator with Greenmount Financial Group.
