Executives

Karl is pursuing a BAS in Finance degree at York University. In his past life, he was a musician, and worked at Drive Entertainment, producing records and helping artists navigate through the music industry. He is interested in helping businesses raise capital and develop strategy, investment research, and playing guitar. Oh, and he likes to read… a lot.

VP, Development | Areef Hack | email

Areef is currently a student at York University, pursuing an Honors BAS degree specializing in Marketing. His most recent work experience includes Director of Operations at Richmond Hill Golf Club as well as volunteer experience at Bloorview Childrens Hospital. He is a member of an adult hockey league and enjoys watching all sports.

Seiwon is a third year iBBA student at the Schulich School of Business. She was part of the organizing committee for RISE 2010 Conference and Competition, and has experience as a tax filer at the York University Tax Clinic and a high-school Calculus tutor.

VP, Human Resources | Iman Samji | email

Iman is in her 2nd year at the Schulich School of Business, pursuing a BBA degree in Finance; she also hopes to obtain her CA designation and MHSc professional degree. She is currently a Financial Services Coordinator at BMO Bank of Montreal, as well as the Director of Corporate Sponsorship in the Schulich Charity Association. Other activities of interest include golfing, travelling, and dance.

VP, Operations | Natalie Sekirtsky | email

Natalie is in her last year at York University pursuing a degree in Finance. She plans to obtain her CFA and MBA after graduation. She is currently working as a summer assistant to a Portfolio Manager at BMO Nesbitt Burns. Natalie aspires to have a career in equity research. Other interests include travelling, reading, rollerblading and tennis.

VP, Marketing | Rami Accoumeh | email

Rami is currently pursuing his Hons. B.A. in Business & Society and Certificate in Business Fundamentals from the Schulich School of Business. He is a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart. He is also a member of the Aurora Volleyball League and Newmarket Country Images Camera Club. Other activities and interests include photography, blogging, video-mashing, film, and all encompassing arts.

VP, Member Relations | Usama Muhammed | email

Usama Muhammad is a second year Finance student at York University. He is currently working as an associate for The Forzani Group Ltd. He also helps manages a catering business for his family. Currently Usama is also one of the founding members and on the executive council for the Management and Consulting Association at York University. He likes to allocate his free time towards hanging out family and friends, and cooking.

Ishan is pursuing an Honours BAS degree specializing in Finance at York University. He currently works at CIBC (Amicus) as a Personal Banking Representative & Mutual Funds Representative. After his undergraduate studies, he would like to acquire a CFA designation and an MBA professional degree. He would eventually like to pursue a career in the area of private equity and venture capital. Other activities and hobbies include playing acoustic guitar, ice hockey, reading and travelling.
